We’re very happy to announce that the filmmakers of the feature documentary Transcend, starring Boston Marathon Champion, Wesley Korir, will be holding a FREE screening for all AO participants Saturday night.

The film is 73 minutes long and it’ll start at 7PM SHARP so athletes will be back early! So book an early dinner reservation and bring them all over for what is guaranteed to be an inspiring evening.

Details: Saturday November 15th; 7PM Start Time; Ramada Plaza on Lundy’s Lane

Cost: AO Runners: FREE – Show BIB # at the door; Coaches/Parents: $10 recommended donation

As Malcolm Gladwell (Best-Selling Author) says, “Transcend is a film about a runner that ends up being about so much more: faith, service and courage. I was riveted.”

You’ll have the opportunity to purchase the BluRay/DVD ($20) and Kenyan bracelets ($15) both at the cross-country course and after the screening. Come to the screening and get the filmmakers to sign your copy!

Time for an App don’t you agree?

The Niagara Sport Commission (NSC) has by no means been asleep at the switch when it comes to working with us to make this year’s AO Cross Country Championships a thing of beauty, always remembered.
And to improve the experience of everyone involved, they have developed a FREE, downloadable App (iOS and Android).
Here are a few basic screen shots. We encourage you to take a closer look on your mobile. Go on, just do it…

More content will continue to be added as we get closer to “the weekend”.
Let us know if you have additional requirements / suggestions / comments.
It’s a “first” for NSC and for NOC.
