Here are the results from today’s Zone meet. I really hope there aren’t any mistakes…but let me know tonight if there are before I send it to the DSBN site.

I have coloured the top 5 runners on qualifying teams (top 3 teams) in red,. Unless I hear differently from coaches, I will be entering the top 5 in SOSSA.

Individual qualifiers are in blue (top ten not on qualifying teams). Note that a few schools have qualified 4 individuals in some races….this does not mean that they are competing as a team. Should your 4 individuals place (in team scoring) in the top 2 next week they do not move on as a team to OFSAA. They can only qualify for OFSAA as individuals.

Top 2 teams and top 4 athletes not on qualifying teams qualify to OFSAA.

Remember to bring the completed and signed OFSAA paperwork to SOSSA next week. See the SOSSA schedule for information. Hand in the paperwork to me at the end of the meet once you know who your qualifiers are. The paperwork must be in my hand at the end of the meet….it is to be couriered to the OFSAA XC convenor ASAP.

OFSAA rule….Identical school shirts or singlets are to be worn by all runners (must have school name on them).

Remember to bring an adult worker to assist with the SOSSA meet.
