Stars shine at National Track League’s 2013 Edmonton International Track Classic

Edmonton, AB – Canadian and international headliners didn’t disappoint today at the National Track League’s Edmonton International Track Classic at Foote Field. The event featured a number of interesting twists aimed at entertaining fans, both in the stands and watching on the live stream, including mixed martial arts guest announcer Bruce Buffer performing UFC like intros for marquee events.

The Edmonton International Track Classic was the third of five stops on the 2013 circuit. The final two competitions are in Burnaby on July 1 and the series then wraps up in Victoria on July 5.

The next event on the NTL circuit is the Harry Jerome International Track Classic July 1 at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, B.C. The 2013 edition of Harry Jerome celebrates its 30th anniversary on Canada Day with over 40 Olympians from 12 countries set to compete. Competition begins at noon local time, 3 p.m. eastern time.
