 What Is The Film About? The inspirational true story of Indian runner Milkha Singh who competed in the 1956, 1960 and 1964 Olympic Games.

Bhag Milkha Bhag a film based on the life and the times of Milkha Singh (Athlete) is being planned by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Milkha Singh is one of the most successful athlete ever produced by India.

Story of the film covers the initial days of Milkha Singh and the tragedy that struck which killed all his family members during India Pakistan partition.

Bhag Milkha Bhag were the words said by Milkha’s father to save him from the violent mobs during the partition.The film has been written by Prasson Joshi and the research work started about two years back. The  film is expected to release during Diwali time.

Who Is Producing The Film? The film is being produced by Indian production company Rakeysh Om Prakash Pictures (ROMP) and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rakeysh Mehra.

Where Will The Film Be Released? The film will be distributed internationally with a focus on India. Many Hindi films can be seen in select theaters in the USA, Canada, and Australia.

What Language Will Be Used In The Film? This will be a Hindi language film often referred to as a Bollywood film.

When Will Filming Take Place? Rehearsal and filming for the majority of international athletes will take place between April 2 – April 15, 2012.

Where Will Filming Take Place? Filming will take place in New Delhi, India and the surrounding area. A small portion of the movie will be filmed in Melbourne, Australia.
