Athletics Ontario is extremely pleased to announce that this year’s Awards banquet will be highlighted by Guest Speaker, Commonwealth Games Gold medalist, hammer thrower,
Sultana Frizell.
The awards gala will include presentations to over 40 athlete award winners, in addition to the Athletics Ontario Hall of Fame Inductees and Ontario Masters 2014 Hall of Fame Inductees. Kate Van Buskirk, the Commonwealth Games Bronze medalist in the 1500m, will be returning as emcee for the third straight year, The evening will include a reception with a cash bar and silent auction beginning at 3:00 pm. Get your tickets today before the event sells out. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Monday September 22.
There are approximately 150 finalists, all of whom have had an outstanding outdoor track & field season. Winners of each category will be announced at the banquet on September 27.
