Athletics Ontario is hosting the Ontario Track and Field Day!

Join us on Wednesday July 22, 2015 from 1:30-5:00 PM for fun, food, and adventure! The Ontario Track and Field Day will take place at the Black Creek Pioneer Village, approximately a five hundred meter (500) walk to the CIBC Pan Am Athletics Stadium on the York University campus. The morning session of Athletics at the Games on the 22nd includes the Men and Women’s 100m semi-finals, with the final of the 100m coming later on that day in the evening session.

Athletics Ontario (AO) wants to celebrate track and field with our members and the community and what better time than during the Pan Am Games? There will be games to keep children occupied, activities for adults, and food and drinks for purchase. Additionally, those attending the Ontario Track and Field Day will have access to explore Black Creek Pioneer Village.

The Ontario Track and Field Day is a free event; parking for the day is available for $15. General parking for those attending the Games is $20. Parking purchased for the Ontario Track and Field Day is available all day, visitors may park at the Village and walk over to the stadium to watch the events of the day at the Pan Am Games.

AO has set up registration for the event on Trackie. Anyone attending the event should register for the event, participants will not be asked for payment. Anyone registered for the event prior to July 21st, 2015 will be entered into a draw. Parking can also be purchased through Trackie. Please note that parking spaces for the Ontario Track and Field Day are limited and it is highly recommended that parking be purchased well in advance of July 22nd to guarantee a parking spot at the event for $15.
