The land of dopes and glory! Relay men bungle again.

When it comes to Great Britain  in the 4 x 100 metres relay, there always seems to be drama.

In Moscow, however, we experienced the whole spectrum of emotion; going from joy to despair and back to joy again in the space of three hours. These relay runners certainly like to put us through it.

The men’s quartet were on their way to collect bronze medals when they were told they had been  disqualified. The team were left ‘heartbroken’ after a bungled second changeover cost them a place on the podium, with James Ellington in tears in the underbelly of the Luzhniki Stadium.
