Trinidad & Tobago Track Legend Hasely Crawford and Rising International Athletics Stars coming to TorontoAthletics Ontario and the National Track League (NTL) are pleased to announce that the 3rd annual Toronto International Track & Field Games (TITFG) will take place June 11th, 2013 at the University of Toronto’s Varsity Centre. The spectacular evening of track & field will serve as the NTLs second stop on the 2013 circuit. For the first time, Toronto will host an international high school 4×100-metres relay, featuring teams from Canada, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and the United States. 

In addition to serving as a showcase of up and coming international high school athletes, the 2013 TITFG will recognize legendary track  athletes including Hasely Crawford of Trinidad & Tobago who won gold in the men’s 100-metres at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. READ MORE

Umar Khan, Week 1 winner of TITFG TRIVIA; Do you know the answer to this week’s question?Umar Khan, shot put athlete, and member of the York University Track & Field Club, was the Week 1 winner of TITFG Trivia and won 2 tickets to the Toronto International Track & Field Games, taking place on June 11 at the University of Toronto’s Varsity Stadium.This week’s question is: This athlete, who has competed at a previous Toronto International Track & Field Games, was a competitive hockey player throughout his childhood.
